University presentations
This spring, I'm honored to be sharing my knowledge with music students at three universities. On Tuesday, March 20th, I share thoughts about effective social media promotion for musicians with the University of Mount Union's Technology for Performing Musicians class, and, on Wednesday, March 21st, I give my presentation "Career Building for the Performer and Pedagogue" to Capital University's pedagogy class. On April 25th, I read student compositions for the University of Pittsburgh's graduate composition seminar as the culmination of a two-part residency on microtonal composition for the flute. Thank you to Jerry Miskell, Gail Zugger, and Mathew Rosenblum for their kind invitations to dialogue with their students!
