Ohio University residency with Clare Longendyke

On November 12 and 13, pianist Clare Longendyke and I are in residence at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio! On Thursday at 5:00 PM, I share "Flute Forward", my presentation on writing for the 21st-Century flutist, and at 8:00 PM, Clare and I perform a recital including the world premiere of Christopher Jessup's Suite for Flute and Piano alongside works by Dika Chartoff (Adesse), Heidi Jacob (Suite for Flute and Piano), and Amy Williams (First Lines). The performance also includes a screening of Robert McClure's prowl with film by four/ten media. On Friday at 12:30 PM, I teach a masterclass for the Ohio University Flute Studio. All events in Glidden Recital Hall are free and open to the public, and enormous thanks to Dr. Robert McClure and Prof. Alison Brown Sincoff for hosting us!
