National Flute Association convention

The National Flute Association presents its annual convention virtually from August 12 to 15, and I look forward to three solo electroacoustic performances, three flute quartets with PANdemonium4, and a panel presentation!

On Friday, August 13, I participate in the "Know Your Worth: Tips for Entrepreneurial Musicians" panel presentation from 3:45 to 4:45 PM ET with fellow flutists Nicole Chamberlain, Katherine Emeneth, Rozalind MacPhail, Greg Pattillo, Nicole Riccardo, and Adam Workman.

Also on Friday, August 13, PANdemonium4 performs on "Quartets for All" from 5:30 to 6:15 PM ET featuring the world premiere of Maria Grenfell's Pipe Dreams alongside Linda Kernohan's My Compass Still to Guide Me and Cynthia Folio's Four 'Scapes.

On Saturday, August 14, I perform Evan Williams's if/else for flute and live-processed electroacoustics on "Focus on New Music" from 12:30 - 1:30 PM ET, and on Sunday, August 15, I perform Eve Beglarian's I Will Not Be Sad In This World for alto flute and fixed media and Elainie Lillios's Among Fireflies for alto flute and live-processed electroacoustics on "Glass Ceilings" from 2:00 - 2:45 PM ET.
