2025 - 2026 orchestral season concludes

The mad dash to the end of the orchestral season is in full swing this spring, starting with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra's "Music from the Big Screen" with Maestro Chelsea Tipton, II on Saturday, March 14 at 7:30 PM at the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences in Charleston, West Virginia! This program featuring film favorites by John Williams repeats on Sunday, March 15 at 2:30 PM at Blennerhassett School in Parkersburg, West Virginia.


The Ohio Valley Symphony presents "Celtic Dreams" with Maestro Peter Stafford Wilson on Saturday, March 21 at 7:30 PM at the Ariel Opera House in Gallipolis, Ohio for a program of Irish, Scottish, and English works. 


The WVSO continues our Symphonic Series with "Fate, Fortune, and Farrenc" featuring Orff's Carmina Burana with Music Director Maurice Cohn on Saturday, March 28 at 7:30 PM at the Clay Center in Charleston, then wraps our Pops Series in "Symphony of Illusions" with Maestra Alyssa Wang on Saturday, April 18, also at 7:30 PM at the Clay Center in Charleston. That program with illusionist Michael Grandinetti repeats on Sunday, April 19 at 2:30 PM at Blennerhassett School in Parkersburg.


The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra's "Season Finale!" features Brahms' Symphony No. 4 with Music Director Maurice Cohn in a three-concert tour of the Mountain State, starting on Friday, May 1 at 7:00 PM at Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg! The program repeats on on Saturday, May 2 at 7:30 PM at the Clay Center in Charleston, and the tour wraps on Sunday, May 3 at 2:30 PM at Blennerhassett School in Parkersburg. 


But wait - there's more! The WVSO also collaborates with the Charleston Ballet in Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake for two special performances on Friday, May 8 at 7:30 PM and Saturday, May 9 at 2:00 PM, both at the Clay Center in Charleston.
