Mid-Ohio Flute Intensive

I'm very excited to be a founding teaching artist for the first-ever Mid-Ohio Flute Intensive, a day-long experience for high school students on Saturday, June 23rd at Ohio Northern University. Budding flutists join faculty members Erin Helgeson Torres, Christina Condon, and I from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm in Ada, Ohio for a full day of masterclasses, chamber music, flute choir, presentations, and recitals, culminating with a showcase concert in which all students perform.

I perform Claude Debussy's Syrinx, Roger Zahab's suspicion of nakedness, Linda Kernohan's Demon/Daemon, Ian Clarke's Maya, and Friedrich Kuhlau's Grand Concertante Trio on the faculty recital and give my presentation "Careers in Music: Beyond the Band Director with Entrepreneurship". $100 includes all activities and lunch; masterclass and solo performers are $125. Register online today for a full day of learning!
