Press for returning to heights unseen

My new solo album returning to heights unseen releases Friday, May 11th on the Navona Records imprint from PARMA Recordings featuring eight new works for flute, but preview press is already rolling in!

The first review from Steven Kennedy at Cinemusical is a rave at four out of four stars:

"Lindsey Goodman’s performances here are all a composer of new work would hope. She has a rich tone and breath control... But further, her own dedication to the music itself ends up adding a compelling quality to the different works here. For fans of new music for flute, this is a must to pick up and explore as one awaits Goodman’s next release."

My one-hour interview with host Matt Jackfert of West Virginia Public Broadcasting is online, including tracks from the album by Roger Dannenberg, Linda Kernohan, and Elainie Lillios and in-studio performances of works by Roger Zahab and David Stock.

The album is featured in a 75-minute podcast from Classical Music Discoveries. Preview the entire album with commentary!

My interview with host Emily Votaw of WOUB in Athens, Ohio is also online, so listen in either at WOUB's site or on SoundCloud. Brannen Brothers Flutemakers, Inc., a generous sponsor of the album, has featured me in their first blog post about Brannen artists, including a interview about the album.

The Southeast Michigan Flute Association included an interview with me in their April newsletter, including insight about the making of the album and electroacoustic music.

Tracks are also being featured on radio stations across the country!

KNTU (TX): Roger Dannenberg's Separation Logic, Linda Kernohan's Demon/Daemon, and Judith Shatin's For the Fallen

Stay tuned for upcoming radio interviews and features on WQED (PA), WOUB (OH), and WMRT (OH)!
