Orchestral season begins

The 2024 - 2025 orchestral season kicks off this week with six concert cycles over the next three months!

The Ohio Valley Symphony starts our season with "Fabulously French!" on Saturday, September 7 in Gallipolis, Ohio! The 7:30 PM concert at the Ariel Opera House features Ravel's Ma Mère L’Oye. 

The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra celebrates "Opening Night!" on Saturday, September 14 in Charleston, West Virginia! The 7:30 PM concert at the Clay Center features Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, and the program repeatson Sunday, September 15 at 2:30 PM at the Blennerhassett School in Parkersburg, West Virginia.  

The Ohio Valley Symphony continues with "The Enchantress" on Saturday, October 12 in Gallipolis, Ohio! The 7:30 PM concert at the Ariel Opera House features works by Copland, Gershwin, Bernstein, and more.

The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra shares "American Voices" on Saturday, November 9 in Charleston, West Virginia! The 7:30 PM concert at the Clay Center features Gershwin's An American in Paris, and the program repeatson Sunday, November 10 at 2:30 PM at the Blennerhassett School in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra brings music to school children of the Mountain State with our Young Peoples Concerts on Tuesday, November 12 at 9:45 AM and 11:30 AM at the Culture Center Theatre in Charleston, West Virginia and on Wednesday, November 13 at 9:15 AM and 10:30 AM at Blennerhassett School in Parkersburg, West Virginia.  

The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra performs "Soaring Melodies" on Saturday, November 23 in Charleston, West Virginia! The 7:30 PM concert at the Clay Center features Stravinsky's Suite from The Firebird.
