March orchestral performances
Orchestral concerts are the abundant flowers in my spring garden, starting with Resonance Works' "To Breathe Free" featuring Copland's Appalachian Spring and a world premiere by Gilda Lyons! There are two chances to hear this program on Friday, March 3 at 8:00 PM at First United Methodist Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and on Sunday, March 5 at 3:00 PM at Carnegie Music Hall in Carnegie, Pennsylvania. Tickets for Friday ($25 - $50) and Sunday ($12.50 - $35) are now available!
Looking for something fantastic? Join the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra for Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique on Saturday, March 11 at 7:30 PM at the Clay Center in Charleston, West Virginia with music director candidate Daniel Black.
I join the Lima Symphony Orchestra for "Mozart and Salieri" on Saturday, March 18 at 7:30 PM at Veteran's Memorial and Civic and Convention Center in Lima, Ohio.
Saturday, March 25 will be a blockbuster night with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra for our "Blockbuster Adventures" pops concert at 7:30 PM at the Clay Center in Charleston, West Virginia. The program of favorite film and television sores repeats on Sunday, March 26 at 2:30 PM at Blennerhassett School in Parkersburg, West Virginia, presented by the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra - Parkersburg.
