The 2025 - 2026 orchestral season kicks off this month!
Join the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra for "Opening Night!" on Saturday, September 20 at 7:30 PM at the Clay Center in Charleston, West Virginia for Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherezade, a program which repeats on Sunday, September 21 at 2:30 PM at the Blennerhassett School in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
On Saturday, October 25, join the WVSO for "Listen Where You Live", a pops concert featuring local bands, also at 7:30 PM at the Clay Center in Charleston.
The WVSO's annual Young People's Concerts take place across the state on Tuesday, November 18 at 9:45 and 11:30 AM at the Clay Center in Charleston. on Wednesday, November 19 at 9:15 and 10:30 AM at the Blennerhassett School in Parkersburg, and on Thursday, November 20 at 9:45 and 11:30 AM at the Robinson Grand in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
The Ohio Valley Symphony opens the season with "Double Delight on Saturday, September 13, 7:30 PM at the Ariel Theatre in Gallipolis, Ohio for Shostakovich's Symphony No. 9.
On Saturday, November 1, the OVS follows up with "All Hallow's Eve", also at 7:30 PM at the Ariel Theatre in Gallipolis for Borodin's Polovtsian Dances.
