I'm pleased to once again be a guest on the Concerts @ St. John's series in Charleston, West Virginia for "The Spirit of Young Beethoven"on Sunday, May 8! Join pianist Robert Frankenberry, mezzo-soprano Elisabeth Baer, bassoonist David DeBolt, and me for this chamber music concert celebrating Beethoven's 250+ years. This free 4:00 PM concert at St. John's Episcopal Church will feature Beethoven's Trio for Flute, Bassoon, and Piano, WoO 37, David DeBolt's The Wisdom of Dorothy Parker for flute, bassoon, voice, and piano, Nancy Galbraith's A something in a summer's Day for flute and piano, and Matthew Jackfert's A Train Through Snowy Thurmond for bassoon and piano. Masks and proof of vaccination required.
