A New World

On Sunday, November 15, a unique event eight months in the making comes to life: "A New World" features three world premiere miniatures written during the COVID-19 pandemic, proving that there is still music to be made! At 3:00 PM EDT, the video goes live on my Facebook artist page and on my YouTube channel with world premiere performances of new works by Tom Beal (Slovakia), Grant Cooper (Etude [in the form of a sonatina movement]), and Matthew Kennedy (Miniatures for One, Book 2, "LXXXIII. Pickerington, OH"). Following each world premiere performance, watch a conversation with the composer and me for additional insight into the piece, then hear the work again following the score for a deeper understanding of the music. A project only possible through our remarkable world circumstances, this video premiere event is not to be missed! A suggested "ticket price" donation of $15 will be split between The Loveland Therapy Fund and me. LTF provides financial assistance for Black women and girls nationally seeking therapy and also receives 100% of the publishing proceeds from Matthew Kennedy's Miniatures for One, Book 2.
