Carnegie Mellon University presentation
On, Friday, October 1, I'm the guest speaker for Carnegie Mellon University's Composers Forum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! I'll share my presentation "Flute Forward: A Modern Perspective on Writing for Flute" with student composers, including musical examples by Amy Williams (First Lines), Elainie Lillios (Sleep's Undulating Tide), and Evan Williams (if/else), and provide constructive criticism on short student compositions for solo flute. Thank you to Nancy Galbraith for the invitation to work with her wonderful students!
