Mid-Ohio Flute Intensive

The Mid-Ohio Flute Intensive returns for our second year on Saturday, June 8th at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio, providing an action-packed day of learning for high school and advanced junior high school flutists with artist instructors Erin Torres, Christina Condon, and me! From 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, students rehearse chamber music ensembles and flute choir, participate in three presentations, and perform on the final showcase concert. I especially look forward to leading the morning warm-up class, "Extend Your Musicianship: Extended Techniques for Daily Practice and Beyond", performing Jason Taurins's Gadfly and Marsyas, Josh Oxford's Bluez, David Stock's A Wedding Prayer, and Ian Clarke's Curves on the faculty recital, coaching chamber music, and team-teaching the afternoon masterclass. $100 tuition covers all events, breakfast, lunch, and snack, so apply today!
