University of Mount Union

On Tuesday, January 12th, I look forward to a residency at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio. At 11:15 am, I give an entrepreneurship presentation to music, business, and communications students in the choral room, and at 7:30 pm, I perform "Partita, Plugged and Unplugged", a solo recital weaving J.S. Bach's Partita in a minor with four signature electroacoustic works (Judith Shatin's Penelope's Song, Jeffrey Nytch and Jessica Melilli-Hand's Covenant, Rob Deemer's The Road From Hana, and Randall Woolf's The Line of Purples). This free performance in the Presser Recital Hall will explore the history of both solo flute repertoire and the soloist as entrepreneur. Special thanks to Jerry Miskell for his invitation to return to Mount Union!
