CD release concert tour

In support of reach through the sky, I'm embarking on a three-state concert tour. On the release date, Sunday, April 17th, The Phoenix Concerts presents my New York City CD release concert and party at 6:00 pm at the Church of Saint Matthew and Saint Timothy in Manhattan. Soprano Gilda Lyons and I perform works from the disc by Jeffrey Nytch and Jessica Melilli-Hand (Covenant) and Judith Shatin (Penelope's Song), world premiere commissions by Elainie Lillios (Sleep's Undulating Tide) and Gilda Lyons (Alice Front), and Linda Kernohan's Demon/Daemon and Daron Hagen's Dear Youth. Tickets are $10 and free for students. I'll also perform two free solo recitals. The first at Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio is on Sunday, April 10th at 4:00 pm, and the second at West Virginia State University in Institute, West Virginia is on Wednesday, April 20th at 7:30 pm. These programs also feature Covenant, Penelope's Song, Demon/Daemon, and Sleep's Undulating Tide, as well as two more pieces from reach through the sky, Rob Deemer's The Road From Hana and Grant Cooper's Other Voices....

In addition, I'll be live on West Virginia Public Radio Wednesday, April 20th at 2:00 pm with host Matthew Jackfert playing Linda Kernohan's Demon/Daemon in studio, sharing tracks from the disc, and discussing the commissioned works on reach through the sky.
