Canadian Flute Association

The Canadian Flute Association hosts its second biennial convention June 18th - 21st at the University of St. Michael's College in the University of Toronto in Toronto, Ontario, and I am honored to present "Wails, Whispers, and Whistle Tones", a solo electroacoustic recital of commissioned works on Sunday, June 21st at 7:00 pm in the Brannen Hall Lounge! The program features the world premiere ofRandall Woolf's The Line of Purples for flute and soundtrack, as well as signature works by Rob Deemer (The Road From Hana), Grant Cooper (Other Voices...), Roger Zahab (suspicion of nakedness), and Judith Shatin (Penelope's Song). Convention registrationinformation is available on the CFA's website, and tickets to attend this single event are $25 ($15 for students).
