PANdemonium4 flute quartet announces PANdemonium4’s Virtual Ohio Flute Competition! This fully-online competition is open to Ohio flutists grades 7 through 30 years of age in four divisions: junior high, high school, collegiate, and young artist. All solo, etude, and orchestral repertoire is available for free through IMSLP, and winners will be announced on Monday, June 8. COVID-19 cancelations and opportunities

Friends, family, and colleagues, it is with sadness that I share that the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra concerts for March 14, 28, and 29 and second flute audition on March 15, The Ohio Valley Symphony concert for March 21, the River Cities Symphony Orchestra concert for April 4, and the COFA Flute Festival for April 4 have all been postponed as of Thursday, March 12. During this time of warranted social distancing, I stand with my organizations in their decisions to put the health of our artists and audiences first while acknowledging the financial hardship on the organizations and the individual musicians like myself. 2019 - 2020 orchestral season concludes

The 2019 - 2020 orchestral season concludes this spring! The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra performs the Bartok Concerto for Orchestra on Saturday, March 14th, Orff's Carmina Burana on Saturday, April 18th, and the Elgar Enigma Variations on Saturday, May 2nd, all at 7:30 PM in Charleston's Clay Center. The WVSO's pops series concludes with E.T. on Saturday, March 28th at 1:30 and 7:30 PM at the Clay Center, and the WVSO also performs at the Garrett Lakes Arts Festival in McHenry, Maryland on Saturday, May 30th at 7:30 PM.
