2019 - 2020 orchestral season begins

The 2019 - 2020 orchestral season begins this month! The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra kicks off our season with "Super Pops" on Saturday, September 21st in Charleston, West Virginia's Civic Center at 7:30 PM. Our symphonic season opens with an "80th Anniversary Spectacular" on Saturday, October 19th featuring Prokofiev Symphony No. 5 and continues on Saturday, November 16th with Beethoven Symphony No. 6. Partita on Sinfonia Music Series

On Saturday, August 31st, I perform my solo electroacoustic recital "Partita" on the Sinfonia Music Series at the Greenbrier Valley Theatre in Lewisburg, West Virginia. Built around J.S. Bach's Partita in a minor, the program also features signature commissions by Rob Deemer (The Road From Hana), Matthew Jackfert (Caffeined), Tony Zilincik (I Asked You), and Judith Shatin (Penelope's Song), as well as Claude Debussy's Syrinx and Josh Oxford's Bluez. Tickets for the 2:30 PM concert are available online ($18 general, $14 senior, and $10 student).
