Orchestra season continues

The orchestral season heats up this winter with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra's production of The Nutcracker on Friday and Saturday, December 14th and 15th (Friday at 7:30 PM and Saturday at 2:00 PM, Clay Center, Charleston, WV), "Something Old, Something Blue" on Saturday, January 12th (7:30 PM, Clay Center, Charleston, WV), and "My Harp Will Go On" on Saturday, February 23rd (2:00 and 7:30 PM, Saint Mark's United Methodist Church, Charleston, WV). Mathew Rosenblum album release

Composer Mathew Rosenblum's new album, Lament/Witches' Sabbath comes out from New Focus Recordings on Friday, November 9th featuring the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble's performance on his work Falling for soprano, flute, clarinet, violin, cello, piano, percussion, and electronics. Leviathan Trio on WVPR

The Leviathan Trio will perform live on West Virginia Public Radio with host Matt Jackfert on Friday, November 9th from 1:15 - 2:00 PM sharing excerpts from our China concert by Joseph Dangerfield (Moon Phase), Linda Kernohan (When In Dreams I'm Thwarted), Luke Dahn (The Impeded Stream Is The One That Sings), and Ching-chu Hu (Just Breathe), in addition to music by J.S.
