PANdemonium4 fall tour

PANdemonium4, your favorite flute quartet, performs two concerts this fall at Ohio University on Sunday, October 7th at 4:00 pm and Ohio Wesleyan University on Tuesday, October 23rd at 7:00 pm. Both free performances feature works by Daniel Dorff (Musetta Steps Out), Michael Rene Torres (I wonder at the idleness of tears), Linda Kernohan (My Compass Still To Guide Me), Andy Frederick (Flugge Jazz Fantasy), and Mike Mower (Fictions). Join us for wonderful evenings of new flute chamber music!

Matt Jackfert world premiere

On Friday, September 28th, I give the world premiere of my latest commission, Matt Jackfert's Caffiend for flute and live-processed electronics, at the West Fork New Music Festival. The 11:00 am concert is part of a three-day event at Fairmont State University in Fairmont, West Virginia. Thank you to my dear friend Marlies Charbonniez for making this collaboration possible, to Matt for writing for me, and to Dan Eichenbaum for hosting!

2018 - 2019 orchestral season begins

My orchestral season kicks off this month with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra's "Opening Night Spectacular" on Saturday, September 29th (7:30 pm, Clay Center, Charleston, WV), continues with "Pipe Dreams" on Saturday, October 13th (2:00 and 7:30 pm, First Presbyterian Church, Charleston), and features my colleague percussionist Lisa Pegher on Saturday, November, 17th for "A Percussive Surprise" (7:30 pm, Clay Center, Charleston). Leviathan Trio China Concert Tour

The Leviathan Trio is honored to spend the month of September touring China as part of the PARMA Recording China Concert Tour! Presented by PARMA Recordings, my trio with collaborators Hannah Pressley, cello, and Joseph Dangerfield, piano, will perform seven concerts across the country featuring the world premieres of newly-commissioned works by Ching-Chu Hu (Just Breathe), Linda Kernohan (When In Dreams I'm Thwarted), Luke Dahn (The Impeded Stream is the one that Sings), and Joseph Dangerfield (Moon Phase), as well as George Crumb's masterwork Vox Balaenae and solo works by Debussy (Syrinx), Britten, and Scriabin.
