Capital University NOW Festival

On Wednesday, January 31st, I perform on Capital University's NOW Festival in Bexley, Ohio playing guest composer Eka Chabashvili's COSMOS. This improvised work features fellow Capital Conservatory of Music faculty members, and is free to the public at 7:00 pm in Huntington Recital Hall. The NOW Festival runs from January 29th to February 2nd with free events celebration new music daily.

PANdemonium4 world premiere

PANdemonium4, your favorite flute quartet, is giving a world premiere at Capital University in Bexley, Ohio this winter! On Sunday, January 21st, we give the world premiere of Andy Frederick's Mark Flugge Jazz Fantasy, a commissioned arrangement of jazz pianist and composer Mark Flugge's original tunes Ahmad, The Letter, and Samba Fantasy on the 5th Annual Mark Flugge Memorial Jazz Concert in Mees Hall. This free concert starts at 3:00 pm and features jazz artists from around central Ohio, including Vaughn Weister's "Famous Jazz Orchestra".

Goodman Flute Studios Tone Workshop

On Thursday, January 18th, 2018, Goodman Flute Studios presents Tone Workshop, our fifth-annual festival day with guest artist Dr. Lisa Jelle, professor of flute at Capital University. Flutists of all ages and ability levels from around central Ohio are invited for an afternoon of learning in the Pickerington High School North choir room in Pickerington, Ohio from 4:00 - 6:30 pm for a tone clinic, masterclass, and mini-recital by Dr. Jelle, sponsored by the Pickerington North Band Boosters.
